i have my desktop computer hooked up to a wireless router and my aunt has a laptop who connects to it for business. the problem is, sometimes her internet on her laptop plainly loses the connection and she has to reset the laptop to get it up and functioning online normally.

and also the desktop PC stays connected, while hers is disconnected.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response, everyone on the forums are really busy at the moment.

If you still require help/advice:
Make sure that the laptop is getting a strong enough signal, sometimes a weak signal will drop out occasionally.

If the signal strength is ok, try re-installing the wireless adaptor drivers. Let me know if you want walking through this :thumbsup:

Is the desktop wired or wireless?
