Hi all,

I have struck this problem for the third time. When running Kaspersky update I receive the message "error connecting to Proxy Server". Other programs simply fail to update. The first two times I have formatted my computer and reinstalled Windows to resolve the problem but as you can imagine it is not my preferred option. I am running Kaspersky Anti Virus and Comodo Firewall and have run scans using AntiMalBytes but they have not detected anything currently on my computer. This has happened again within the last three days. Is there a solution to this and why is it happening? Any help much appreciated.
Thanks Sika

Try this fix from their forum:

Uncheck the NDIS filter and reboot. Try to go into the control panel > network connections, then right-click on local area connection and do this (uncheck Kaspersky NDIS filter) and reboot
