Does anyone have an opinion on the new AVG 8.0 Anti-Spyware release?

Welcome to the forum. I have AVG and like it. That said, It does have a few short comings(as most software does). It has been readily updateble and has performed without much of any conflicts on my system. The resident shield portion of the prog. tends to be a system hog in my case. and link scanner can slow down surfing and such but both can be disabled if one cares to do so. I also have other malware progs. installed and updated to cross examine my system.
No one Program is going to catch it all, so AVG acts as a good, real time scanner for me.
