I have had a 500GB hard drive fitted to keep all of my photographs in and when I was doing some housework on them I noted that allthough most of the folders showed four images some had no images at all. I discovered how to get the folder with no images showing to show one image but whatever I did I have not been able to work out how to get the one image folders to accept four images.

You didn't say, so I have to ask. Is there more than one image in the folder? Since you have done your housekeeping, have you rebooted the computer?
Is this Vista or XP?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

All of the folders have more than twenty photographs. I have been trying to solve this problem for a week or more so I have re-booted several times and I am on XP.
