Where is the location of the Registry?

Go to Start / Run / type regedit / ok

... and you're in! :thumbsup:

yes i know that, but want to know where is it physically located in the system.

The registry hive is located in \Windows\system32\config\.

The registry is divided into hives or sections, these sections are in different files or folders on you hard drive.

Edit: Wikipedia has a good description of the registry and hives.
