I installed a 320gig HD on my DEll laptop to upgrade from the old 40gig. I partitioned it and installed windows and all my drivers on the new partition. Computer was running good. I hooked up my old hard drive through the USB while i was Running Win XP so i could transfer some of my files. I just tested it at first so i didn't transfer any thing. I shut the computer down and disconnected the OLD Hd and rebooted the computer. Upon reboot now i get the error Cannot read Hard drive. I checked BIOS and it recognizes only 38 gig which is how much the Unfomatted partition is. Some how i think i lost my MBR. Any suggestions?
