Hello there...this may sound kinda long but i wanna be as descriptive as possible. My norton keeps picking up Infostealer.Gamepass and says i have to reboot to fix the problem...when i do it's still there...lot a help it is eh.
I also been getting a generic host process for win32 services showing up and says it needs to close.
My computer still runs fine except i lost my sound...to which i have this pop up:
Bad Direct Sound driver... Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.
Error code 8878000A.
My sound was fine until all this started going on so somethings wrong somewhere but i have'nt a clue where to begin.
My Hijackthis log is below:

  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results, click no to the Optional_Scan
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
