im looking for an audio editor that lets me to cut out any part in the audio that i dont want.

for example, i have this wma file, but although the music has ended, but the file still has about 30 seconds extra; and therefore, my windows media player keeps playing this file unitl its over and of course there is no sound in this 30 sec extra

now i want to cut that extra part out

so i need an audio editor

i remember b4 my pc got rebooted, i had a software of Nero that let me change audio format. for example, i could change wmp3 format to wma format. after i reboot my pc, of course, i lost everything. so i began to download all software again, so Nero. But i dont see this format changer software. does any1 know where to get it? or any other software that has the same function.

I know you could use:

Acid 4.0 or Cool Edit Pro 2.0

I do audio mastering and recording and both of these are great tools. I think Acid has a demo version you can download.

I have 100 greatest RAP songs but all in wma.

I dont wanna change its format one by one

is there anyway I can change the format of all of them at once

or alot of em at once?!

or it auto'ly change when i download em
