Hi, I am having a recurrent infection of a Vundo Trojan. It is detected and eliminated by scans from either Symantec Endpoint Protection or SuperAntiSpyware free edition, both of which ask for a reboot. After rebooting, Run.dll complains of some DLL's failing to load because they can't be found. After a few minutes, the popups start again. I just registered to this community and saw other postings about this problem, but got the impression that each infection is unique, so I decided to start a topic and ask for help.

I downloaded the DSS program as instructed in this forum, so I could start the topic and post the corresponding logs, but DSS is freezing on me. Most times, when I start it, I get a blank command windows and nothing else happens for a long time. Just once I got the startup message, which explains that the scan should take no more than 3 minutes, but after 15 minutes nothing happened (no disk access, no anything). Each time I have had to kill the program. I downloaded it again, to no avail.

Please help! This invasion has turned especially annoying, not to mention what other things may be happening inside my computer!

Thanks in advance!
