installs .exe and .inf file

I to am having basically the same problem that is being discussed, however even if I rename mbam-setup.exe or HJTinstall they will not open the installer. You may get a quick flash of the installer but then it closes. I have downloaded the files from an uninfected computer to both a USB drive and to a cd and still no luck. When I insert a USB drive into the infected computer it installs .exe and .inf file onto the USB devise. I can google hijack this and I get results but if i google hijackthis my browser closes. Even trying to ping mcafee.com closes the command prompt to close.

Hello, I split your post to it's own topic. It will be easier on all involved as you 2 have different issues. Your Flash drive is also infected.
