Suddenly I have this problem where I can locate my cursor on the Address bar or any other field but cannot type anything into the field (I'm sending this from a friend's computer). Is it possible to lock up your keyboard? Any comments or helpful suggestions?

I had the self same problem on a previous computer running windows 98SE.
Mouse would point without any problem but the keyboard was unresponsive.
It cost a new motherboard I'm afraid. Mind you, thats not bound to be your problem, but thought I would give my recollection on the similar event.
Is all that we see or seem, but a dream within a dream ?
