Buring a Mpeg file to DVD

Hey guys im trying to burn a Mpeg file to DVD so I can Watch it on my TV. But for some reason When I go to my Nero Smartstart and try to burn the file. I cant select anything under photo and video. I tried using DVD shrink but that didnt work eather. If you guys have any ideas thanks very much.

If you are sure you have mpeg format, it should be no problem. I always use cd burner xp pro available at www.majorgeeks.com. While you are there try gspot if you don't have it. Tells you all the codec for a given video file.
