My power options change every time I lock my laptop, it is getting annoying because I have to change them back every day. I do not know what the problem is... Any ideas?

It may help the next responder if you were to supply the make and model.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

A lot of computer manufacturers provide their own power controls in addition (and often bypassing) the integrated Windows power controls (bloatware)

Because of that, please follow the advice of the poster above me, then we may be able to help you out.
