Hi, I'm trying to install DDS so I can post my log, but when I download it to my desktop and click on dds.scr, I'm being asked what program I want to use to open it? I thought the script would open automatically?

Go back thru the instructions. Not sure why it asks that. Shouldn't.

You did not say what symptoms of malware you have. Since the Hijack This team is backed up with help requests and may be several days before they get to you. You may want to try a couple of programs before posting the HJT log in the HJT forum.

Below are links to 3 good programs and instructions for using.

I don't mean to intrude. Please continue with buddy215 suggestions, but if it comes down to preparing a log, if you cannot perform a step just continue on to the next step and let the team member know about your problem
