I am running Vista on a Dell laptop. I am noticing sometime as i type it will click out of the typing box or randomly click in it so i am now tying some place else like mid sentence. Its really annoying when trying to do long text docs or type long emails. Any idea what this might be?

Quite possibly your wrist hitting the touchpad as you type.
