I'm a newbie - just made my 1st post and realised that it's in the wrong forum. I see that sometimes posts are moved.
How is this done? I've just cut and pasted - but now my post is in 2 lists.

thanks in advance

Edit: Moved topic from Tutorials to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hi Alan,

welcome to Bleeping Computer! Posting in a wrong place, is not a big issue. They will be moved by moderators to an appropriate area when seen, or if you sent them a short message explaining that you accidentally posted incorrectly. For a list of colors matching rank, have a look here: "How do I get help?"

Hope that helps.

I have deleted the post in external hardware which was actually the proper forum for the subject matter. However you have a reply to the one in XP, that I suggest that you follow that advice. So I left that one. If at some point we need to move it we can do that at that time. Thank You for asking about how a move is done.
