One of the guys in the office sent an email on 1/2/2009 and got an error message about that email on 1/5/2009 that says
"I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<redacted recipient's email address>:
Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long."
To the best of my knowledge, he only gets the error sending to this email address. He emailed some with the same email domain to confirm the email address and was able to email them and receive email from them with no problem or delay.
I have looked online and did not find any helpful information about this error. Do any of you have thoughts or suggestions?
