Just before Christmas, my laptop was infected with SpyProtector. Since then, I downloaded/installed Malaware software to remove the files. I was able to remove all but one file, a .dll file. My anti-virus keeps picking up the infection but I am unable to delete the file manually [the software cannot delete or quarantine it either]. It's located at C:\\WINDOWS\system32\dmloader32.dll When I try to delete the file, I get an error message telling me that it cannot be deleted and that it is either in use or write-protected. Any suggestions? I'm so frustrated and cannot afford to buy a new computer or reimage mine [it's too old].
