When I click search result links in search engines (Yahoo and Google), sometimes I am redirected to random websites. I have run scans with Ad-Aware (free version), Spybot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes, and Norton 360, and have removed whatever viruses/malware they have detected. But I want to make sure that there is nothing left on my computer that might be potentially harmful. Thank you for all of your help!!

Hi,

Welcome to BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal,GWu.
My name is sundavis, I will be helping you to deal with your Malware problems today.

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times. and we are trying our best to keep up.
If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not, then please do the following.

Step1
  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)
Step2

Please close all browsers and other windows while running GooredFix.
  • Please download GooredFix and save it to your Desktop.
  • Double-click Goored.exe to run it. Select 1. Find Goored (no fix) by typing 1 and pressing Enter.
  • A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called Goored.txt).
Note: Do not run Option #2 yet.

In your next reply, please post back:

1.Goored log
2.RSIT log.txt and info.txt.

Thanks.
