I'm new to the sight and I think my problem is fixed. I just wanted to say thanks for helping me fix my computer with the instructions from the sight. I thought people who work with virus problems might be interested because I ran several scanning programs and none of them detected a virus even though something was going on.

I'm not sure what happened to my computer! I tried downloading Kodak Easyshare software for my daughter's new camera and that's when the trouble started. I tried everything they said to download the newest edition from the sight. It also included turning off my Panda security just during the time I was downloading. I never managed to get the program to download and a few days later my computer began malfunctioning.

It was interesting that when I tried running vundofix and the program from avast, nothing was detected. I also ran the adware program from AVAST and it did not detect my problem. But after I found this sight and ran combofix, everything seems to be back to normal. However, I don't know if I should send the log to be looked at.

Thanks for your great sight! I have had my computer crash before and it's not pretty! This saved me a lot of grief getting to the problem before it consumed my computer!
