Hi everyone!
Got to know about this site because I believe I've been infected with a virus (malware, etc...) in my thumb drive. All of the sudden my thumb drive's Autorun.inf (created from Liberta AutoStart) disappeared and always prompt the windows AutoPlay whenever I plug in the thumb drive to my computer. Really irritating! Even I copied a new Autorun.inf to the thumb drive it will disappear once I remove the drive.

I managed to download the Flash Disinfector and run it. i believe it has removed the malware or virus from the thumb drive however, now it doesn't run the AutoPlay nor can I copy Autorun.inf to the drive. It creates a folder called "autorun.inf" and with a file with the name "lpt3.This folder was created by Flash_Disinfector".

So, now I'm here to find if there's a solution to uninstall the Flash Disinfector from my thumb drive so that I can use the Liberta AutoStart again -ie., be able to create Autorun.inf in the thumb drive.

Hope you guys will be able to help.

Thanks!

Welcome to BC
Nice to have you with us
Did you ever stop and think that Autorun might be the reason you got infected in the first place?

I understand that but AutoStart provides the BEST eject function for removing thumb drives!
