I want my candy! I have noticed increased performance with the "Embedded" theme, with Eye Candy.

What didn't you see, basaltfire?
The performance settings?
Try this:

Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / System / Advanced tab
Under Performance, click the Settings button.
Click the Visual Effects tab.
Click Adjust for best performance.
OK your way out.

A lot of settings i had i didn't notice, such as the shadow under the mouse icon. A bit of a change. I'll see how much it actually speeds up my computer. It would make sense if it did bc windows wouldn't have to load all of the data to do the special things.
