need help . cant load windows command.com missing or curupt.how can i find it on my harddrive.

What is your operating system? If you have a floppy boot disk, boot with that and you can copy it from there to C:\. You may need to go into the bios and set the A: drive as the first boot device.

After you boot with the bootdisk and get to A:\> type the following.

Copy A:\command.com C:

If you are asked to overwrite it say yes.

Remove the floppy and boot normally.

Thats fine. You can do what I previously posted to replace command.com If you need a bootdisk you can get one from bootdisk.com. Any 98 bootdisk will do. You can also copy command.com from any 98 machine if you have access to one.
