Hi guys, I have problem with my laptop which is:
there is nothing appear on the desktop even the task taskbar. nothing. I thought I might need to use the safe mode, but I DON'T know.
I hope some of you guys help me with it...

using windows XP

Boot into safe mode, log on with the administrator account.
From Start Menu/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Choose a restore point to just before the problem started. Follow the prompts.
After your system reboots, log on to your desktop.
Let us know if this works. Sometimes a system restore is all it takes.
