My PC is relatively new (bought it about a year ago) but people keep saying the problem might be in the sound card.

Whenever I start Winamp or any other music player my computer freezes and stops doing any commands. Not responding at all until I have to restart it.
I ran Nod32 - it didn't find any viruses. I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - it didn't find any malware. I used TuneUp Utilities and nothing!
I even uninstalled my Realtek Audio device and installed it again and the same thing keeps happening.

Does anybody know why this happens and how I can fix it? Please help.

This does not some like a malware related problem.

You may want to start a topic in the Audio Videa Forum for this issue.
