When I get to the desktop my keyboard and mouse will not work at all. I have tried safe mode and nothing. I also tried boot mode and they both work there/check out ok but then I exit and as soon as the desktop pops up they will not work again. My best guess of the problem started when my CD drive was not working. I looked this up in a forum and someone else had the exact same problem as I did. One post told the user to delete some upper and lower values in the registry. The next post came from the poster and said that this solved the problem. So I did the same and the next time I turned on my computer is when my keyboard and mouse problem started. I can't even use an external mouse. I'd love to do a system restore to before I deleted those values but without the use of a keyboard or mouse I have no clue how to do this. As far as I know I can't even reboot my computer since my CD drive doesn't work.

Any help would be very much appreciated!!
