Multiple Problems

My computer takes at least 5 minutes on the windows loading screen when I turn on my computer. Also, I will occasionally get the blue screen of death stating "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal"

My computer is often very slow. My DVD, although at 16x write speed,w ill be at between .50x-1.99x.

Before moving on, please see the information >>Here<< regarding slow/poor computer performance. These problems are not always malware related.

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.NOTE: Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed
    There shouldn't be any scheduled antivirus scans running while the scan is being performed.
    Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan.

  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results, click Yes to the Optional_Scan
  • >>Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.<<
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
