I got an inexpensive antistatic strap from ebay. It is blue, clothlike, with a coiled black wire that ends with an alligator clip. Is it reusable? If I reuse a disposable one will it work?

I can't think of any reason you couldn't reuse it.

I reuse the disposable ones until the adhesive doesn't adhere anymore.
