Installing Firewire Card into computer

I have a windows XP and a Firewire Card that i need to insert into my computer. it is SEPERATE from my computer at this point and the problem i am having is finding the correct way to put it into my computer.

Could you please tell us the make and model of your computer?

If it is a custom build, please provide us with the make and model of the motherboard.
