Awhile ago My computer crashed. Well as I have been going through things I have deleted alot of stuff and I am very low on resources. What kind of hidden things should I be looking for to delete? I had incredimail too (before the crash) and today I heard that incredimail downloads tons of crap and there is alot of hidden stuff. Any ideas on what I am supposed to do to free up space?

What system resources are low? Is it just your hard drive or are there other symptoms?
You can use this free tool to get a visual description of where your hard drive space is going: http://w3.win.tue.nl/nl/onderzoek/onderzoe...n/sequoiaview//

Go to Start/Run/type msconfig/startup

You might have too many programs loading at startup and working in the background, slowing down your computer.

Post a screenshot of what you see or a HJT log.

We'll try to eliminate a lot of useless entries. This often speeds up your system.
Please post back if we found the solution

I would not suggest posting a HJT log unless there is evidence to suggest malware being responsible for what seems like a quite ordinary situation, at this point.

It sort of defeats the purpose of having a section of the website dedicated to dealing with known/suspected malware issues (via analysis of HJT logs, etc.).

Just to add to hamluis' post...

The use of HJT is overrated - and an HJT logfile may not even be needed to remove the malware.
That's why we encourage people to post possible infection issues in the Am I Infected forum ( http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/ )

Also, once you do post an HJT logfile, our HJT Team is very, very busy and it can take up to 5 days to get a response from them.

Finally, posting an HJT logfile outside of the HJT forum will get the log moved (by a Mod) to the Misplaced HJT Logs forums. These logs aren't worked on, but there is advice given there on how to properly post an HJT logfile.
