Formatting Computer

I want to know if its possible to format your computer without having any windows installation/recovery cds? because i didnt get any with my pc

This is a list of boot disks, but remember formatting the drive will destroy the data on the drive, and if you don't have a windows cd you wont be able to reinstall windows to get your pc working. <--- IMPORTANT !!!!!

Normally in this case you can boot from a recovery partition on the drive, which is a small hidden partition, this will normally format the drive as well. When you turn the pc on see if a recovery option comes up.
