Iam new to this forum and this is my first post.

I have a problem with WIN XP Scheduler

Some tasks unknown to me are listed in Scheduled tasks. No one uses my laptop except me. These tasks bear resemblance to each other that i begin to suspect them as being caused by some virus. Am a novice in matters regarding these and really concerned. I have attached snap shots of these tasks list and properties of one sample task. All tasks are intented to run the same exe file as seen in the properties snap shot.

Can any one help me in sorting this out?

Have you done any anti-virus scans? If so, did they find anything?

Locate the executable in the C:\Windows\System32 folder and submit it to http://virusscan.jotti.org to see if it's an infection.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Yep. May want to create a new topic (or a mod can move this) in the Am I Infected? forum. You will be in great hands.
