I found charges on my telephone bill for companies/services I have never even heard of. When I called to cancel they used my real name, address, phone number, date of birth, city of birth and yahoo email account. I have run all sorts of spyware removal, adware removal, anti virus....everything I could think of. I am thinking of doing a complete system reformat. Am I just being overly paranoid and reformatting is overkill?

Actually, since you were hacked that bad we would recommend a reformat/ reinstall
That way you leave nothing to chance

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

I figured that reformatting would be the best thing to do. I am also going to delete the yahoo account that they used. Only question now is what function key to I tap when rebooting to reformat?
