While deleting old photos today from my Lacie external hard drive, i noticed that when i held down ctrl to choose images to delete, it would make a copy of each image i was trying to delete. The more i delete, the more copies i get. So i moved the pics i wanted to keep to another folder, then deleted the original image folder altogether. Then I emptied the recycle bin. However, i think i have seen it do this in other image folders since then. I scanned the Lacie hard drive with AVG Free and picked up nothing. Scanning computer drives now with AVG Free; so far nothing. Win XP; I have comodo firewall pro. I'm wondering if it's the computer or the ex.HD, and how to get rid of it. Any help would be awesome.
on a side note, we recently moved this external hard drive from my other PC, which suddenly stopped functioning Thursday.(terminal beeped long and threateningly while trying to send an email, then the monitor went black and said no signal- but that's another computer, another problem, some other day)
