Hey sorry this is just a simple problem maybe caused by my virus , but ive tried running dds on my computer but i just get to the stage of

As per the instructions you would have received, kindly ensure any onboard
script blocking tools have been disabled for they shall interfere with DDS.

DDS is a non-invasive diagnostic tool.

- DDS makes no registry writes/changes

- DDS does not create any permanent files/folders.

This scan should not take longer than three minutes to complete.

When the scan is complete, a logfile/report shall pop open.

Post the contents of the logfile to the forum where it was requested

We only require it to run just once. Dispose after use.

and it doesnt scan anything , can you help me get it to scan so i can get the reports so i can paste it with my virus topic

thankyou

When a HJT team member responds, just explain that you cannot run the scanner. The HJT log is enough and gives them something to work with

If you add to your post now, you will be bumping it and actually move back down the list

I'll stick a note in your post

Hello

When you see that screen, the scan is actually taking place. You don't have to do anything else.

This scan should not take longer than three minutes to complete.

When it is done 2 logs will appear and a box telling you which log to post. Try waiting for the full 3 minutes.

Ah ok, that is strange. However, as garmanma said the HJT log will provide the helper with enough info to try and remedy your problem. Just wait for a reply
