Hi there I am working on a friends Dell Latitude laptop and it is getting multiple svchost errors at startup and also I am not able to get to the net with his dialup. I do not have a 2000 install disk to reload his PC. Is there anything I can try.

PS. I am also getting a ctfmon.dll loading error too.

Just a note.... I am able to connect with my isp over my home network, but I think that what ever is happening with the svchost error is taking out the dial up modem cause I can't even uninstall it or do anything like make new connections and when I try the svchost error keeps popping up......
