Hello all I am new to this forum and was just wondering if someone could lend some assistance please, it would be much appreciated.

My problem is as follows, when I am in windows explorer clicking different folders I receive a popup. This popup notify's me that different downloads are ready to be downloaded (bestiality, sex related things etc.), also a popup occurs telling me that I need spyware detection program. I obviously click no and it redirects me to a website pertaining to win defender not windows defender just win defender. This problem also occurs when I am not connected to the internet, I ran my computer in safe mode and ran Windows Defender which is horrible, I also ran spyware sweeper and nothing came out of doing a full system scan. I have some hidden files that I keep password protected and I was wondering if it could possibly be in those hidden files. I am not the most tech savvy so I forgot how to remove that password so a search could be enabled.

My logfile is as followed

Hello crazychristoph,

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from one of these places:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Ant...ware_d5756.html
http://www.besttechie.net/mbam/mbam-setup.exe

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Thanks,
tea

are these anti malware programs any better than spyware sweeper ? or Windows Defender ?

I will still give both a try thank you and I will update you shortly on how the scan turned out.
