My son has a Dell 1525 Laptop with Vista. He has been having problems with it so I decided to take a look at it. In doing so I find he has never technically logged off he just closes the laptop. So now when I try to log him off it has been over 2 hours and the computer still says logging off. What is going on????

Please help. I plan on restoring Vista once I fix this

The other problems he was having is IE shutting down out of no where
