cannot find file taskmgr

ctrl-alt-del keys wont bring up task manager and when i type taskmgr from run, error pops up saying cannot find file taskmgr

Search google.com for Taskmanger download. Save it to your c:\<system root>\system32 folder. Try it from there.

i have searched the internet for a task manager download but they are all third party programs that dont work if system freezes like microsoft task manager. any help appreciated.
