Hi, I recently got a fairly old labtop and i cleaned everything off of it and it was working fine i downloaded a few programs and it was still working fine but then i noticed something i can't type certain letters without bringing something up like for example if i push the "R" button it brings up the Run: command box or if i push "E" it brings up "My Computer" screen or something along thoose lines for alot of the keys. I thought it could have been a virus from something i downloaded so i used system restore back to the point where it wasn't doing this. But the problem has continued. Please help i think i just changed a setting i wasn't supposed to change...

I'm moving your post to Internal Hardware
Do you have an old external keyboard you can plug in and try to see if it still does it?
