excel to quattro

Is it possible to send and excel spread sheet via email and open in quattro format and send in quattro and open in excel?

You can save Excel files as some Quattro file types (use "save as" and check for the versions you can save it as to see if it matches what the recipient uses). I am not sure the opposite way works; you would need to check with the recipient (assuming Qauttro is on that end) to see what file types/ versions it will accept (either Quattor or Excel). If you are going to be doing a lot of back and forth spreadsheet sharing/editing, it will simplify everything (macro translations, formatting, etc.) if you could both use the same application (OpenOffice.Org comes to mind as a free alternative to both Excel and Quattro).
