Dear all,

I need your help on removing the message that keep coming in my computer asking me to perform the virus scan and showing me that I have a lot of files get infected by virus. It mentioned that the spyware guard 2008 will perform the check and it is free. Is it safe to download it ? If not safe, how can I remove it so it will not ask me to perform the download ? It also cause my computer getting slower and not able to open windows explorer.

I also attach the print screen of the message.

Thanks in advance.

Hello andre_01 and welcome to BC

In answer to the first question, should you download this program, the answer is no. It is a rogue.

Now, I have a question for you. Is this the same computer that you posted a HiJack This log for here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/188781/need-help-on-malware-virus/
