Just curious as to see your different film tastes (been watching a lot of films lately, perhaps you could show me more good films), I'll go first - click for trailers:

5. Schindler's list

4. American History X

3. The Godfather [Part II]

2. Scarface

1. The Godfather

These are 5 must see's I would say.

Andrew... How old are you? You're only the second person (my father being the other) who has *ever* heard of "The Mouse That Roared." Do you also have an end-of-the-world fetish?

I'll also eidt this reply when I can come up with my own top 5 list.

I'm 25, but my friend Mike is 60 and has introduced me to many films including the Mouse That Roared.

And yes, I do have an end-of-the-world fetish.

My top five are less apocalyptic than Andrew and less violent than Jat's.

Don't laugh...

5. The Great Race
Before the Cannonball run made ensemble casts popular there was this underrated gem with
Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and the stunning Natalie Wood

4. Titanic
Epic stuff. The most polished film with humour, schmaltz and top quality CGI

3. Lord Of The Rings
Brilliant film series. Brilliant. As cool as my film choices get.

2. Airplane
The first of its kind. To anyone brought up to now hate this genre, remember it used to be
fresh and funny.

1, Pretty In Pink
It's a zeitgeist thing. I liked Molly Ringwold, identified with Jon Cryer and was an angsty teen.

In no order:

Casablanca
Rocky
On the Waterfront

(My list is also apt to rotate often... But, today, if I were trapped on a desert island and could only take 5 DVDs with me...)

And yes, I do have an end-of-the-world fetish.

What? And no mention of 'World Gone Wild'?!?!?!... I'm so disappointed. :flowers:

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
