Hi, this is my first time posting here.....
anyway, day 1
using avg on my windows xp system I detected about 7 virtumonde trojans(haven't a clue how they got there, I think the first one shut off the firewall and all hell broke loose)
ran the scan then ran ad-aware and got rid of what it was picking up... but after several more scans a single virtumonde still stood, after avg supposedly got rid of that it was still being picked up on ad-aware. So I just turned off the system and removed the connection to the internet.
now day 2
the internet ended up getting reconnected without my knowledge so when I turned on the computer it freaked out shut down and I had to disconnect the internet before starting back up.. running the antivirus to see what would be picked up ..I found to my horror several new trojans picked up thier names being gadcom.exe, prun.exe, prunnet and another whch i hadn't the time to write down before my computer shut down

so basically I need help to get rid of virtumode gadcom and prun
(i've never dealt with a single trojan none the less several ahhh can I start loosing it now?)

help, of anykind much appreciated!!!!!!!!

(if I can't solve this I'm just wping the hard drive and using linux as the os
