No matter what I type in to search for or if I type an address in, this is the message I am getting in my browser:

http://www.gateway.com/g/lafe.html?ch=reta...7&q=http://

it ends with whatever webiste I have searched for.

Has anyone had this problems or know what is causing it? Could I have a virus?

Looks like a search hook/redirect. Wait for more educated responses before you act, but that's what it looks like to me.

You get that same thing if you type "google.com" in your browser? try typing "http://www.google.com" (both of them without the quotes.)
