Generic DOS Icons on desktop

I've been fighting a Trojan and Malware for several days. I think that is fixed!
Now most of the icons on my desktop are just generic DOS boxes instead of the icons associated with the programs (ie. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
I also have NO pictures on ANY webpages until I right-click on it and select (show picture). This is happening with IE and Firefox.
