Windows Explorer Error

Hey guys i been on this forum before and i was able to get lot of help regarding my computer issues now here i am once again problems never go away. so this time i am getting this error since past two days and it looks like this :

it occurs randomly as far as i can tell and and when this happens all my windows of harddrive closes. and am using windows xp media center edition version 2002 thanks i hope someone reply as soon as possible.

:thumbsup: Click on where it says "Click Here" and copy/paste what it says
Open the Event Viewer and copy any errors that occur around the same time that this happens
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer

A few questions, Do you use Windows Messenger? Do you have an original Windows CD? Have you tried going back to a restore point before this happened?

There is also a chance it could be an infection. Try a few scans:


I'd suggest one of these free online scans to ensure that you're not infected:
(Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully)

Do you have all the latest patches for Half Life?
Are you fully updated with Windows Update?
Have you updated your video drivers?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
