HJSplit should work.

HJSplit @ Download.com

In the 'split file size' box, you enter what size you want the segments to be. The box next to this is to choose kb or megabytes.

You will need to rejoin them, before they can be opened.

The files you want to join need to be in the same folder.

Another program, one I used two or three years ago, is GSplit. I liked it because in addition to splitting your file it creates a small executable file which will rejoin the file even if GSplit is not installed on the computer.

i know how to split with Winrar but the smallest file that it can do is 650 mb.

Hm, winrar installed on my PC allows to specify the volume size manually, in bytes. Maybe you are using wrong version if Winrar?

Just right-click on the file, => add to archive => and then if the bottom left corner of the appeared winrar window you can type in the desired volume size.
hope it helps.

You don't 'open' the split files. You join them with hjsplit, inputing the .001 file. If this has not worked, something has gone wrong.

It's good you've got WinRar to work.

That is the way winrar works.... only thing i can imagine going wrong is typing the volume size as less than 650. The file size should be typed in Bytes (not kB). So if you want 100 MB parts, you would need to type in the 'split to volumes' box: 104,857,600 (Bytes).
