i just upgraded to vista and am not sure what to use to resize my pictures. i used the image resizer powertoy with xp, and microsoft doesn't have one for vista. is there something just as easy i can use, where i can resize multiple pictures at once?

Have a look at "Prish Resizer" (just Google it). It is a right click menu addition similar to PowerToys.
Easiest thing I have ever used and has set sizes or you can make custom sizes.
