Hello all,

I am hoping somebody can help me out. I am unable to open any of my CD's that have all my photos. This is a recent problem, as I have always been able to open them in the past. I get the error message that "the cd rom tray is open. close tray and try again" I have tried inserting the discs on 3 different computers and get the same message. I am running windows xp home. I tried 6 different discs with the same result. One more piece of info that may help............The original discs were made @ Walgreens, I have contacted them with no success.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

With the disk in the drive, go to My Computer. Right-click on the drive and choose Explore. Can you see anything that way?

Yes!

That did the trick............Thank you very much. Do you have any idea why it will not open on its own when I insert the disk?
